The measurements I got from a fan blog. The waist and hips I can believe, but a 48 inch chest? On a 5' 9" guy who weighs 150 pounds? Though with those pecs, who knows?

Philip seems to have been around for quite some time, but he's only 22, and has been modeling for only 3 or 4 years. I'd have thought he was in his later twenties, just from the physique.

Gotta love this modern underwear, it's like they're wearing nothing at all. But seriously, who besides a model could pull off that look? It's like speedos, only the tremendously in-shape should wear them.

I can't find Jon's weight or chest measurements or anything like that, but he's well fit, and that's a fact. I'd say he's best known (at least amongst the probable readership of this blog) for being in Dante's Cove. Jon's made a thing of doing the supernatural stuff. Back in '05, he appeared in Camp Daze/Camp Slaughter with Matt Dallas. In 2008, he was in Frat House Massacre, made by the same folks that did Camp Slaughter.

Speaking of Dante's Cove, I really should it watch one of these days. Looks to be the perfect guilty pleasure. Like if David DeCoteau had produced Charmed, but on cable with nudity. And gayness. OK, more gayness than Charmed. More about Jon here, and get an eyeful here.

James has acting aspirations, but I haven't found anything indicating he's gotten any gigs so far. Still, dude has no problems getting modelling work. Most recently, in 2009 he did a fitness calender, and a photoshoot with Bradford Rogne. He's also worked with Adam Bouska in '08 and '09.

This guy, just wow. He could play Superman, he's got the perfect look for it. The face, the eyes, the hair, the whole package. Wouldn't even have to put on that much more muscle.

He's worked with Adam Bouska, who's one of the best photographers around. Couldn't find much about him after he won the Armani Exchange contest. Then this year he seems to be popping up all over. Or is that popping out? I'm not a fan of the short-sides, almost military haircut. Makes his head look funny. Yep, that's about the only thing I can gripe about, 'cause the rest? Mm-mm-mmmm.

The one thing I would like to know is how old is he? I can't find a darn thing anywhere about his birthday or even his birth year. I'd say he's in his late 20s to early 30s, but I'm not the best judge of age. Anyone out there have an idea?

I wonder if Sam Page was a little embarrassed to be in The Brotherhood. Not only in, but the lead. See, Sam was born Sam Elliott, and has gone by that name or Sam Page in all his work. Except for The Brotherhood, where he uses the stage name Nathan Watkins. Could it have anything to do with the stuff like in the scene above, about a minute and ten seconds in?

He's done pretty well for himself since, appearing in things like Filthy Gorgeous, Shark and Mad Men. But he seems to be going the serious clothed actor route now, if the latter two are any indication. Which is a shame, since he's only 34, and has years of near-nekkidness left in him. It's that time again. Another year older and all that, closing in on the half-century mark. By this time in 2011, I'll be eligible to be on the National Register of Historic Places!

Anyway, I'm going to indulge in a hobbit birthday tradition. Instead of getting presents, I shall give them. Your treat shall be wallpapers every day for the next two weeks. Which is why I'll be changing the post names temporarily to Wallpaper of the Day instead of Wallpaper of the Week.

The subject matter? Male models. See, I like posting wallpapers on the birthdays of the subject, as y'all should know by now. But I have a number of folks whose birthday I can't find. Amongst them, models. The ones I'm using I've been able to find the year they were born, or at least figure it out from some research. A couple I did find birthdays, but I'm not 100% on them, so they're included. I'm going in alphabetical order by last name, from A to W. Because I couldn't find any good photos and/or those of interest with names starting with X, Y or Z. The fame level is kind of up and down on these guys. But I'm hoping y'all will find something of interest in the next couple of weeks.

Oh, the colors? I decided to ROYGBIV them, so a different primary color each day during the first week, and then repeated the following week. If you see a particular wallpaper you like, but might prefer it in a different color, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. :)

Btw, the models are not of the current trend. The whole waif look has carried over from female models, and now the industry standard seems to be anorexic-looking boys. None of that here. The men here are big strong manly men. You can keep your emaciated teenagers.

He joined the Marines earlier this year. The modelling world's loss is our country's gain. Let's hope he stays safe, wherever he goes. I mean, the training he was putting himself through for modelling was something. But with the Marine training he's getting, can you imagine what his body is going to look like once he gets back? This was a "Why not?" Scott Clifton (he turns 26 today) was on my list to look at, since he's been on soaps for a while.

Which reminds me. A long overdue thanks to SoapHunks.net. I've linked to them in numerous previous posts. A terrific resource, lovely to peruse when in the mood to appreciate the best of the male form in all its varieties. IDIC, what a concept. Like Scott, whom you can see more of here.

Never seen any of Mr. Clifton's work. But he is pleasing to the eye. Not too pretty, nor too butch. Good-looking in a frat-boy sort of way. Though there's nothing wrong with pretty or butch, either. Apparently he's into the music thing, too. Found a nice photo of him, made the wallpaper, liked the result. So, as someone once said, "Whoomp! (There It Is)."
