WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
What can you say about Ryan Phillippe (37 this week and previously featured) that hasn't been said before?
The body of David and the face of a Botticelli, ageless pretty boy, ridiculously pretty DILF, need we say more? Oh, and he can be a badass when he wants, what with his black belt in tae kwon do. See him in his young soap days here.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week - extra

Two actors who are "gay for pay". Oh, get your mind out of the gutter, folks, and get in the sewer with the rest of us. No, wait, lemme explain.
The first is Ryan Phillippe, whose birthday it happens to be today. I had quite forgotten that his initial major role was playing the first gay teenager on a daytime soap, One Life to Live, back in 1993. He went on to do roles that showed off his body, which is a good thing. Turns out he's a better than decent actor too. And each year the pretty transmogrifies into more dang sexy. What he's going to be like in his forties scarce bears thinking.
The vampire mania continues with tonight's premiere of the new CW series The Vampire Diaries, starring the improbably beatific Ian Somerhalder. Another model turned actor, who can actually act. He was a WB-CW "It" boy for a while, first appearing on Young Americans, then guesting on Smallville for a few episodes. Then there was Lost, which, honestly, I could never get into. He did a Sci-Fi Channel movie recently, ironically titled Lost City Raiders, which made The Day After Tomorrow look like a documentary. Now he's back to the CW for The Vampire Diaries. I'll give it a shot, but as I've mentioned previously, I'm just not that into the whole vampire thing. Still, with Somerhalder bringing the pretty, it'll at least be easy on the eyes. And it'll be on right before Supernatural.
GAY ROLE (Phillippe): One Life to Live
