Yes, Ty Pennington (45 tomorrow) is crazy, loud and annoying. And yet somehow the sexy comes through all the distractions. He was the first in a long line of sexy carpenters on Trading Spaces. I do wish he'd get a little more meat on him, though, 'cause he's on the stringy side. And that damn bullhorn! He needs to get back to doing more of what he's best at, working with powertools shirtless. Don't deny it, y'all know it's true.

Flashback

It boggles my mind how Vince Van Patten's father is Dick Van Patten. Don't get me wrong, I like the senior Van Patten. But maybe Vince takes after his mother, 'cause Vince was, and still is (at 53), darn sexy. As opposed to his father. Compare and contrast. And he's not the only one where there's such a vast difference between father and sons. The DeLuises come to mind.

He was all over the place in the '70s. Heck, he was the Bionic Boy! Then he did the tennis thing. Let's face it, cute guy in shape running around in tennis shorts, how can you loose? Now he's involved in the world of poker, commenting and playing, with more than some success. Is there anything the guy can't do?
