WoW - Wallpaper of the Week - extra
To think, he almost didn't play Wolverine in the X-Men movies. Where would he be if Dougray Scott hadn't had to drop out? Still being successful on stage, I'm sure.
But the fates are kind, and the world got to know Hugh much better. Especially liked him in Kate & Leopold. Though it's hard to forgive him for Van Helsing. What was he on that made it seem look a good idea to him to do it? Whatever it is should be banned from the market, forever.
His naming as 2008's Sexiest Man Alive was long overdue. Wish they'd made it two years running. I mean, seriously, are there still people that think the 2009 winner is sexy? Maybe when he won in 2003, but he's so scrungy and weird and unappealing now. Oh well, takes all kinds.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
First is now 33 year old Matthew Bomer. He was set to be the lead in Superman Returns, until there was a change of directors.
His career was a bit spotty after that, doing a movie here, a TV appearance there. He appeared sporadically on Chuck, then finally got a lead role on USA's White Collar.
To see more of Matt in his soap opera days, check here.
From one impossibly good looking guy to another. That being Sean Patrick Flanery, who's 45. And no less handsome than when he played young Indiana Jones. I was happy to see him later on Stargate SG-1, Charmed and even more so when he got a regular part on The Dead Zone. Since then, he's become, amongst other things, something of a Sci-Fi Channel go-to guy. The things actors do to pay the bills.
Some more nice wallpapers of him here.

Flashback
By this point, I'm mostly making the wallpapers specifically for these posts. But I made lots of wallpapers before I started blogging, and occasionally I can dip into that pool. Like, for example, when I saw that today was J. Eddie Peck's 52nd birthday.
Most recently, he appeared on the unfortunately cancelled Kyle XY. The first thing I remember seeing him in, though, was that cinematic classic Lambada. Which was about the Forbidden Dance. Yeah, right. The movie was fairly hot, though, and Mr. Peck (not to be confused with the other Mr. Peck) was pretty smoking in it, as I recall. Ironic, that he and one of his costars in the movie went on to play the same character (sequentially) on All My Children.
You can see more of J. Eddie here and here.
