DDoM - DeCoteau Dude of the Month

This month we have Greg Sestero, born July 15th. Interesting. He did DeCoteau's Retro Puppet Master back in '99, then two more (Alien Presence and The Pit and the Pendulum) with him ten years later.

He also was involved in producing two non-DeCoteau films, The Room and Homeless in America. So, more than something nice to look at. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week - extra

Olympic swimmers are the game. Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte are the names.

Today is Michael's birthday. If you don't know who he is, boy, have you been living under a rock or what. Follow the above link and you can find out more.

Ryan's birthday is in August, but since he's a fellow Olympian and friend of Phelps, I thought, what the hey. He still trains in my old stomping grounds, which tempts me on occasion to go up the road and visit the O'Dome to see if he might be working out there. Alas, the other reason for visiting is there no more. How's he doing, I wonder?

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week - extra

All I knew about the now 24-year-old Austin Drage is that the boy (a) is British (b) is straight but very gay-friendly and (c) likes singing without a shirt. He follows in a long and noble tradition in that regard. I finally decided to listen to his stuff, and he's rather good. Done a bit of TV, too. So, more than a pretty face and dynamite bod. And only about 5'4". So it's true, good things do come in small packages. Or maybe not so small?

His Myspace, Facebook and Twitter accounts haven't been very active for a while. Supposed to be working on an album, so mayhaps that's taking up his time.

You know, I'd love to see him play a sidekick in a superhero movie. He would look amazing in spandex, imho.

A neat fansite can be found here. And a great Yahoo group here.
