DDoM - DeCoteau Dude of the Month
This month's dude is one of the stars of Mister DeCoteau's most recent films. His name is Israel Korn, and he's somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 years old. The movie is part of the "1313" VOD series. This one is called 1313: Actor Slash Model. I suppose it's going to explore the horrors of the world of male modelling. I'm expecting numerous scenes of waxing, 'cause that's pretty scary stuff. And let's face it, looking at the typical cast of David's movies, you know there's massive amounts of waxing going on.
This is one of Israel's first starring roles, as he's done bit parts more than anything else, most recently in Captain America: The First Avenger. See more photos of him here, his theatrical reel here, and two different resumes.

Wallpaper of the Day
We end the month with a man only a few months older than me, TV handyman Eric Stromer. He was the one constant through the entire run of Clean Sweep. Eric was such a goof. The episode he did in Carmen Miranda drag was hilarious. And he still got all the carpentry done. He was also really clever, often coming up with neat elements to augment the designer's vision for the rooms. He still works on various home improvement shows.
It's amazing to me that he's fifty, 'cause he looks nowhere near that old. Just like me, if I do say so myself. And I do. I guess fifty is the new forty. Or maybe thirty.

Remember Brian Unger on The Daily Show back in the late '90s? I do. That's where Brian first caught my eye. Funny, dryly sarcastic, and looking like he had a pretty good body under the suit he always wore on the show. Not much has change in the last fifteen years or so. Quite an accomplishment.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
What can you say about Alan Ritchson (29 today and previously featured) that hasn't been said already? Wish he did more gay stuff, like on 90210? Or chained up and wet scenes like he did on Smallville? Or be seen with as few clothes as possible? Well, the last is a given.
We've not seen the end of Mister Ritchson. OK, actually, we have. And I'm hoping we'll continue seeing it for some time, especially on Blue Mountain State. Give the fans what they want, and I think Alan knows what the fans want. My surprise with BMS is finding out how funny Ritchson is, and how smart he must be. Because you can't play a character that dumb and actually be that dumb in real life. Which means you could hold intelligent conversation when you're done posing him.
