Wow, I never realized we were the same age. He's 49 now, and I'll be the same in a couple of months. No wonder that it seems he's been around for as long as I can remember. He hit the teen idol big-time in the late '70s after he started playing Chachi on Happy Days. His popularity wasn't enough to make Joanie Loves Chachi a success, though. He's worked very steadily since then, doing one of my favorite stupid movies in '82, Zapped!. It also starred his boyfriend Willie Aames. OK, not really his boyfriend, but they were together so much in the '80s you'd think they were. Nowadays I guess you'd say they were in a bromance. Besides guest spots, he also was a regular on several series from the '70s through the '90s. Shows like Charles in Charge, and Diagnosis Murder.
I didn't realize he'd done so much directing and writing and producing. Smart guy, Scott. He's grown up real nice, too. Before he was pretty. Now he's mm-mmm-manly. Check this Yahoo group out for more of classic Scott.
