It's Garrett Hedlund's birthday! Who's Garrett Hedlund, you ask? Well, I was looking through lists of celebrity birthdays, to plan future posts, when I ran across his name. Something in the back of my head made me investigate further. Interesting young man. His first major role was in Troy. Then he did Friday Night Lights, which inspired the TV series. I think I remember hearing about him in Four Brothers, b/c Marky Mark was in it. Some may have seen him in Eragon.
Ironically, I've not seen anything he's been in. May have to make a point of it. His chameleonosity is pretty amazing, he hardly looks the same from movie to movie. The hair, the build, that's dedication. I know one movie of his I'll definitely see, though it won't be coming out until next year. It's the Tron sequel. That should be something else, what with special effects advances since the 1982 original.
Gosh, has it been that long? Am I officially old, since I saw it in the theaters, and I wasn't a teenager? Yeesh!
