The latter is reality star, model, and all-around fitness guy Scott Herman. He'll be 26 on Friday. Scott wants to play Captain America. Seeing him in the costume, I'd give him the part. Wasn't sure if he was tall enough, so I checked and found out he's 5'10". I would think Cap should be over 6 feet tall, and Scott "reads" shorter to me on screen. I thought he was more like 5'8".
As it is, Hollywood went in another direction. Which, let's face it, not the worst idea in the world.
Maybe Scott could start out as a supporting character in the prequel to 300, or on Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
By the way, regarding the last wallpaper above of Scott. Never done a "behind-the-scenes" wallpaper before, but when I saw that picture, I thought I'd give it a go. The result speaks for itself. You gotta love a guy who looks good coming or going.

Next is somebody who has played a superhero. The most iconic superhero, in fact. Superman himself. That actor would be Brandon Routh, who turns 31 on Saturday. His last name rhymes with "mouth", and he sure does have a purty one. He played the Man of Steel in Superman Returns. Only seen the movie in bits on TV, but he acquits himself well. Sadly, it looks like that will be the only time he plays the role, since his Superman contract expired last year, and TPTB want to go in a "darker" direction. God help us all.
He has found work after, getting a regular part on Chuck earlier this year. To see more of him back in his soap days, lookie here.

Scott and I are very close friends, we met actually six days after this post and we've been best of friends ever since. He is recently engaged to a very beautiful woman and his youtube channel recently hit one million subscribers. Great person and an even better friend, sincerely honest and exceptionally humble. He recently had a small role as a swat officer in a movie starring Mark-Paul Gosselear
