Thor 2 comes out in November, right around my birthday. Can hardly think of a better present. Hopefully this time around they'll find more excuses to have Chris shirtless. Aside from the one scene in the last one of him getting dressed, his body was criminally underused.

Plus there's a bonus for me. Josh Dallas played Fandral in the first one. Due to his involvement in Once Upon a Time, he had to bow out of the sequel. I do like Josh, but I like his replacement way better. He's in my top 42, in fact. It's none other than Zachary Levi (previously featured). Ironically, he was the original choice for Fandral, but couldn't do it because he was still doing Chuck. So there was a little something good that resulted from the cancellation of his series. To play Fandral, Zach had to get his hair and beard died blonde. That's going to be... intriguing. Whether he'll go shirtless or not, I guess we'll have to wait and see. But if he and Chris doff tops during the course of the movie, it'll be eye candy for days. Check out Zach at Superherofan and Tumblr, and here tomorrow.

I still miss Chuck and its star, Zachary Levi (previously featured). But he's managed to keep busy with things like his company The Nerd Machine. And the occasional small film, like the Thor sequel. So, you know, your typical struggling actor. More Zach tomorrow.

Both guys in today's post share a birthday on Wednesday.

I thought Zachary Levi (who'll be hitting the big 3-0) was Jewish, which I figured was why I found him so attractive. 'Cause I have a thing for Jewish guys. Or guys I think are Jewish. But his full name is Zachary Levi Pugh, and he's Christian. Which makes him no less cute. He's also another one of those actors who can look very different from role to role. On Chuck, he's got the whole adorkability thing going on. There's lots of good wallpapers of him over at Fanpop.

Alexis Cruz will be 36. He came to my notice as Skaara/Klorel in the Stargate movie and TV series. I didn't realize he played a recurring character on Touched by an Angel. He later became a series regular on Shark. Here's hoping he keeps working.
