Site banner - major change

I had a notion, and that's always dangerous. The thought occurred to me that maybe I could have random blog headers. I've got a dozen I made last year, and some for this year. Due to the new(-ish) job, I'm learning more html and php and javascript.

After some false starts, I found the right javascript that would work. It resulted in a minor design change, but I think it still works. And hey, each time a reader visits, new header. Visit often and collect them all, y'all!

A new reader was wondering who the guy on the right of the blog header is. I realize I've been remiss in identifying the new guys each month. I put the labels for them in the post, but not everyone may notice that. So in future, I shall make sure to let y'all know who's who.

Happy New Year! We're all still here, as I noted on December 22. So new banner time. For 2013, the guys in the banner will be amongst those being featured that month. So even more of a sneak preview, doncha know.

This year is also the 500th anniversary of my resident state, and the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who. Plus the 5th anniversary of anything that happened in 2008. To go along with the 5 theme. Wowzers, time to party down.

We end the year (and the world, perhaps?) with a bit of a beachy theme. Or at least I see these guys in my mind hanging out on the beach a lot. Maybe in part because the weather here in Florida is so lovely right around now. The 70s in the day, the 50s at night. Don't hate me 'cause I live in paradise.

Ack, ack, ack! I have been remiss, but have changed the site banner. And yes, as far as I can tell, that's an authentic photo of Misha. One of the few shirtless photos of him I've been able to find. If that is genuine, I don't know why he doesn't go shirtless all over the place.

It's that time of the month. Time for a new site banner, that is. This one's in honor of Magic Mike, which premieres in the US on June 29th. I'll be doing several days of wallpapers leading up to the opening. Can I get an A-men? Or maybe an Ah, men.

More playing around with the blog. Instead of panorama shots from my travels, I decided to make some banners more related to the current blog content. So, guys, guys, guys. This one is all DeCoteau Dudes. You can see who's who here. It goes with my little holiday theme devoted to them for the next few days. Why? Stay tuned...
