Few men would I describe as exquisite, but the word is perfect for Miles O'Keeffe. The acting, not so much, but the body? Exquisite. Magnificent works, too.

Of course, he first caught my attention in his premiere as the literary primitive in Tarzan, the Ape Man. I think there was some chick in it, too, but I wasn't paying attention. He went on to do some wretched, yet campily amusing, films. Remember the Ator movies (a Conan knockoff) and Sword of the Valiant (where he played Gawain)? He was a pretty sexy Dracula in Waxwork, though. The last thing I see in his IMDb bio is a short he did in 2010. He is 58, maybe he decided to retire from acting. His career will live on, though, and continue to entertain and amuse for years to come, I'd wager.

Today is Casper Van Dien's 43rd birthday. Since I can't get enough of him, I did some more wallpapers. OK, a lot more wallpapers. I discovered he played a gay assassin on an American telenovela on MyNetworkTV in 2006. Color me pleasantly surprised at how cool he is about gay people.

Casper has 4 kids, 3 daughters and a son. The son was born first, in September of 1993. Which makes him 18. I'd love to see what he looks like, wouldn't you? If he takes after his father...

All the birthday boys today are over 40, which goes to show that some things definitely get better with age.

First is 44 year old Shawn Christian. I think I first saw him in Tremors 3, though I didn't fully appreciate his charms, b/c he didn't take his shirt off. Apparently he was in a few eps of Charmed, but you couldn't prove it by me. Though I didn't really watch it much, I began paying attention to him more in Summerland. He started out in soaps, on ATWT. Now he's on DOOL. As to why I find him of interest, lookie here, here and here.

Next is another favorite of mine, Casper Van Dien, who turns 41. I have two words for you: Starship Troopers. And two more: Starship Troopers 3. Over ten years between the two, and he's just as do-able now as he was then.

This week's subject is Casper Van Dien, and is a two-fer. The second is based on a screencap from the 1998 classic "Modern Vampires". Well, he does, as the Brits say, get his kit off in it. And you know, some things get better with age, and Caspy is definitely one of them.
