DDoM - DeCoteau Dude of the Month

Another Killer Bash Canuck alum this month, and definite DeCoteau fave, Sebastian Gacki. His first two movie roles were in 2005, The Brotherhood IV and Killer Bash. The following year he starred in the first Rapid Heart Extreme release, Beastly Boyz. I can't find any info on subsequent movies released under the Extreme label, so this may be the only one. Sebastian's worked pretty much continuously since then, mostly in the SF and horror genres, on shows like Smallville and Kyle XY, and movies like Beyond Loch Ness. On a side note, he looks like a prettier Lance Bass to me. Anyone else think so?

DDoM - DeCoteau Dude of the Month

This month's dude is soon-to-be 27 year old Chris Olivero. His association with David goes way back (relatively), when he did Alien Arsenal back in '99. A few years later he got a recurring role on Kyle XY. Sadly, the series ended in 2009.

Currently, he's finished filming Seance, which is now in post-production. Hopefully he'll keep getting work. Maybe even appear in one of David's movies again, though he's getting a bit long-in-the-booth, as far as those movies go. We shall see, shan't we?

DDoM - DeCoteau Dude of the Month

You may know this month's guy if you're a fan of Glee. It's none other than Cory Monteith, who'll be 29 later this month. "What?" I hear you say, "Cory was in one of David's epics?"

Cory was born and raised in Canada, which I didn't know, eh? Lucky for him that he lived in British Columbia, 'cause it made it easy to get acting work in Hollywood North (Vancouver, that is). He had small parts in most of the shows filming up there, including Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, Supernatural, Smallville, Kyle XY and Flash Gordon

Then in 2005 he got his film break, appearing in DeCoteau's Killer Bash. He showed off the contractually obligated amount of skin required by any young man in a Decoteau film. Right after that, he was in Bloody Mary, and showed off almost everything. The things a starving young actor will do for a part. After that, his film work was almost exclusively in the horror genre. Then along came Glee, and the rest is history.

Flashback

By this point, I'm mostly making the wallpapers specifically for these posts. But I made lots of wallpapers before I started blogging, and occasionally I can dip into that pool. Like, for example, when I saw that today was J. Eddie Peck's 52nd birthday.

Most recently, he appeared on the unfortunately cancelled Kyle XY. The first thing I remember seeing him in, though, was that cinematic classic Lambada. Which was about the Forbidden Dance. Yeah, right. The movie was fairly hot, though, and Mr. Peck (not to be confused with the other Mr. Peck) was pretty smoking in it, as I recall. Ironic, that he and one of his costars in the movie went on to play the same character (sequentially) on All My Children.

You can see more of J. Eddie here and here.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week

Wednesday is Matt Dallas' birthday. You probabaly know him best as the navel-less wonder on Kyle XY. Sadly, it got cancelled, but he's gone on to be cougar bait on Eastwick. We'll see how long that lasts.

Canadian Ryan Reynolds turns 33 this Friday. He was always funny and kinda cute. Then he got a part in '03 in Blade: Trinity, and had to build himself up for the role. The results (good gravy Marie!) can be seen in some of the wallpapers above.

Him getting cast as Green Lantern is interesting, what with the Deadpool movie set to film about the same time. Playing a DC character and a Marvel one simultaneously wouldn't be a first. But, unlike Halle, Ryan would be the title character in both. Of the other options, I was hoping for Bradley or Nathan, as either would be better for the part, imho. At least it didn't go to one of the two J's.

Some time back I mentioned how I didn't see what the big deal was about the Twilight guy. Apparently Ryan begs to differ. If they were in a movie together, maybe I'd change my mind.

GAY ROLES (Dallas): Entourage, Camp Daze/Camp Slaughter
GAY ROLES (Reynolds): The Nines
