WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
Andrew Garfield (30 this week) is kind of a sexy beast, isn't he? Like Robert Pattinson, but with better hair. And more limber.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week - extra
Rory may be gone, but Arthur Darvill is far from forgotten. I think he was the most adorable (and adorkable) of the male companions on Doctor Who. Yeah, Turlough was cute, but the character's personality detracted somewhat from that. Rory was lovable and likeable all the way through.
I didn't know that he and Matt Smith had worked together prior to Who. But they did, in the play Swimming with Sharks. More recently, he played Mephistopheles in Doctor Faustus at the Globe, from which I got some wallpaper inspiration. More to see of Arthur at Superherofan and Tumblr, and here tomorrow.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
First, John turns 52 in April. Then in August, James hits 50. Now Ben Browder (previously featured) reaches 50 this week. The future's looking bright, I must say. Especially since his guest spot on Doctor Who! The mustache, though... See Benny back in the day at Superherofan.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
Hard to believe that Ryan Carnes (previously featured) will be 30 this week, and Ian Somerhalder (also previously featured) will be 34. 'Cause they still make the teen girls hearts flutter. Especially Ian. It used to be you hit 30, and no longer were you a teenybopper idol. The times, they are a-changing.
You too can drool at Superherofan's compendium of Ryan and Ian photos.

Look, it's the dishiest Time Lord since Peter Dav-oy-idson, David Ten-oy-ant. Thank you, sweet lord, for Fright Night remake.

Tony, Tony, Tony
(NSFW, btw)
The upbeat stuff.
It's Tony Coburn's 22nd birthday today, give or take a day. He's the Timelord From Hell, one of my favorite Doctor Who fan film YouTubers. The other, of course being the Master Crevasse hisself, Thomas Rees-Kaye. Tony played a young Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but his scenes were cut for length. Likely they'll show up on the DVD, as such things tend to. Check out Trinity Productions, they do more than Doctor Who. You can see their growth over the years, from their gawky start when they were 15 or so, up to now. It'd be great to see them on the telly, and work as jobbing actors. They deserve it.
The not-so-great stuff.
Tony and his girlfriend, Andrea, had a baby girl recently. Something happened, they're not sure what, and now their little girl is brain-damaged. It's apparently not something she'll recover from. To start a life together and have that happen, it's just not fair. I hope things work out as well as possible for them.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
Two guys who, imho, should be shirtless as often as possible.
Philip Olivier birthday is Friday. He's another Brit who, like one of last week's offerings, is very gay-friendly. He even went so far as to host the Mr Gay UK competition in 2005, and played a gay character the following year. Love a straight guy that is that secure in his sexuality. The fact that he's got a body that won't quit is purely incidental.
What? What are y'all laughing at? No, really, what?
I forgot about the Doctor Who connection. Philip did several audio plays for Big Finish as a Seventh Doctor companion.
This Saturday sees Mark Wahlberg another year older. Here's a guy with a body that won't quit and can't be fired. Now that he's a serious thespian, he doesn't go shirtless nearly as often. But he has offered us years to appreciate the effort he made to get that body, as far back as the Marky Mark days. And he still shows it off occasionally. We'll be appreciating him for years to come, methinks.
