WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
Oh, Eureka, how we miss you. Fortunately, wise casting agents snatched up the slab of hunky deliciousness that is Niall Matter (33 this week) for the Primeval spinoff. He pronounces it Nile May-ter, by the by. But it mayters not how his name is pronounced, 'cause it always sounds mmm-mmm-good to me.
Oh, the spinoff? Pretty good, actually. See for yourself. A bit more straightforward, plotwise, than the original, but that's not a bad thing. It may get more complicated if the new series continues, but time will tell. It always does. More to see at Superherofan and Tumblr, and more wallpaper the next two days.

It's Colin Ferguson's 41st birthday! Hard to believe that more than a year's gone by since Eureka was cancelled. How I've managed without my weekly infusions of Sheriff Carter shirtlessness, I can't imagine. He hasn't stopped working, and maybe he'll get another series. Or a film role requiring nudity. Well hey, someone else took me up on my offer! I got some nice material from the DeCoteau folks a while back to make some nice wallpapers. Quite recently I got some photos from a person who's capping TV episodes, and was able to transform them into what you see above. Thank you, citizen! Who knows where this may lead, hmm?

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
We begin with the strapping Ed Quinn, whose 42nd birthday is Friday. He's one of those guys who could read the phone book and it'd be sexy. If he did it wearing a kilt, I wouldn't complain, either.
He started out being a WB guy on Young Americans and Jack & Jill. Surprising, since he was in his thirties at the time. Guess they knew a good thing when they saw it. After some movies and more TV, he got a regular spot on Eureka, where I discovered him. And thought, "Woof!" and "Grrr!" and other less intelligible things. Then they killed off his character after only a couple of seasons! At least he's got some work on True Blood.
