WoW - Wallpaper of the Week - extra
Aussie Eric Bana (previously featured) is 45 this week. He can veer between hairy and very hunky (like he was in Troy) to clean-shaven and more everyday adorable (like in Hulk and The Time Traveler's Wife). And oddly Corey Feldman-ish. Or scary, like in the Star Trek movie. But he's always interesting. And in real life he seems sweet and down-to-earth. I'd take him any and all ways. More to see at Superherofan and Tumblr, and here for a couple more days.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
Today Marc Blucas will be celebrating. I'd lost track of him since his Riley days on Buffy. He's appeared in a few movies, so he's done OK for hisself. In the 'Things You Might Not Know' department, Christian Kane auditioned for the Riley role. Interesting to think what could have been. Though we did get Lindsey as a result, so it all worked out, I'd say.
On Wednesday, elf and pirate portrayer Orlando Bloom will be a year older. I can appreciate why fangirls and boys go crazy over him, but he doesn't do much for me. Much rather prefer this Bloom.

Brad Pitt is 46 today, and is showing no signs of slowing down with the sexy. I'm not so big a fan, though. Not saying that I don't think he's fine. Far from it. But out of today's three birthday boys, Brad's at the bottom of the list of who I'd like to meet. In my bed. For a long, long weekend. So if you want him, I won't fight you for him. 'Cause I'm that kinda guy, generous to a fault, doncha know.

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week - extra
It's Garrett Hedlund's birthday! Who's Garrett Hedlund, you ask? Well, I was looking through lists of celebrity birthdays, to plan future posts, when I ran across his name. Something in the back of my head made me investigate further. Interesting young man. His first major role was in Troy. Then he did Friday Night Lights, which inspired the TV series. I think I remember hearing about him in Four Brothers, b/c Marky Mark was in it. Some may have seen him in Eragon.
Ironically, I've not seen anything he's been in. May have to make a point of it. His chameleonosity is pretty amazing, he hardly looks the same from movie to movie. The hair, the build, that's dedication. I know one movie of his I'll definitely see, though it won't be coming out until next year. It's the Tron sequel. That should be something else, what with special effects advances since the 1982 original.
Gosh, has it been that long? Am I officially old, since I saw it in the theaters, and I wasn't a teenager? Yeesh!

Today is Australian actor Eric Bana's 41st birthday. You might remember him from the Incredible Hulk movie, but you got to see more of him (not like some other people, but still) in Troy. He was also in that movie which I'm still debating about seeing. I'll have to get around to doing wallpapers of some of the other Troy-errific guys, I suppose.
