WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
It's Pride Week, and keeping true to this blog, celebrating it in the most shallow way possible. Well, mostly. There'll be at least one wallpaper each day. A couple will have gay connections, the rest are ones that gays like to look at. Let us begin.
Today's guys share today as a birthday, and that's about all they have in common. First is 24 year old Britisher Ed Westwick. I've not watched Gossip Girl, which you might find surprising, considering some of the guys on the show. But it never really grabbed my interest. Of the three male leads, though, in order of hotness to me are Penn, Chace and Mister Westwick. Ed doesn't look real, more like a mannequin. I've heard him talk in interviews and he seems nice enough. I prefer his natural English accent, too. But if anyone wants him, go for it, I won't fight you. Gay connection? Kissed another guy on Gossip Girl. Eh.
I will fight you over the previously featured Christian Kane (now 37). And for him, I'll fight dirty, 'cause he's mine! Though I'd probably cut the hair. I'm warming to it some, but I still think he looks better with less girly hair. He does seem to have bulked up a bit more since he's started in Leverage, which you won't hear me complaining about. And when I listen to him... Well, you try it and see what you think. Gay connection? Part in a movie (see below).

WoW - Wallpaper of the Week
Christian Kane. I remember the Angel series premiere. I'll tell y'all, David Boreanaz doesn't do much for me, I don't know why. But I liked the character, and Joss was doing the show, so I figured it'd be good.
Then I saw Lindsey. And he spoke in that deep raspy voice. I thought, "Please let this guy become a regular." Someone was listening, 'cause he did. As the series developed, so did his character, who became complex and morally ambivalent and funny and interesting, so he was more than just something nice to look at. Then he sang, and I was lost. Let's not even get into the evil hand issues.
It's strange, normally I like guys with longer hair, but I wasn't a fan when he came back at series end having let it grow out. Dude's got great hair, don't get me wrong, but oddly I think he's hotter with short hair. Which is why I'm not too keen on his look on Leverage. But at least he's back on TV regularly again.
He's got his own band, appropriately enough named Kane. Here's a sample.
